We handle most cases on a flat rate, meaning that you pay one price regardless of the duration of your case. This is our preferred method as not logging hours worked helps reduce our workload and we do not feel that it is fair for a client's financial status to dictate whether he or she goes to trial or accepts a plea offer. We typically handle in excess of 120 active cases at any given time, so the time we save by avoiding tracking hours allows us to focus on what is important - defending our clients.
Our practice is primarily dedicated to Oklahoma's Twentieth Judicial District, which is comprised of Carter, Love, Marshall, Johnston, and Murray Counties, and the Chickasaw Nation District Court, which conducts hearings in Ada and Ardmore. We occasionally accept cases in the Eastern and Western District United States Federal District Courts, the Choctaw Nation District Court, and other counties throughout the state. However, we always advise potential clients to seek counsel in closer proximity to those courts as our fees are significantly inflated due to the time required to commute to hearings in those locations.
Keeping in mind that every case is unique, below you will find a fee schedule outlining what we typically charge for cases in our primary practice area:
We do offer payment plans on most cases with down payments ranging from 20 to 50 percent of the flat rate with the balance to be paid in equal monthly installments over up to a 10 month period.
